Man at Zhoukoudian

    Zhoukoudian is a village of Fangshan County, about 50km from Beijing . The nearby Dragon Bone Hill is the home of Peking Man, where Pei Wenzhong, a Chinese paleonologist, excavated a complete fossil skull cap, some teeth and bones of primitive apeman in 1929. The remains of Peking Man's daily life, hunting and the use of fire were also discovere, whitch testified the existance of apeman in Beijing region five hudred thousand yearsago. The excavation marks its valuable position in the field of anthropology. Up to
